About the Emergency Medical Fund
Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s Emergency Medical Fund provides financial assistance to low-income pet owners facing unexpected and life-threatening medical emergencies with their pets. We believe in the special bond between a person and their pet. No bond should be broken due to lack of financial resources for critical, life-saving surgeries. Since we’ve launched our Emergency Medical Fund, we’ve helped fund over 10 lifesaving surgeries.
