Meet Blue
Hi everyone! My name is Blue. I am an American Staffordshire Mix and about 7 years old. I have spent the last 9 months with my friends here at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. I would really love to find my furever home soon! I can’t wait to find my best friend. Apparently Blue is a very common dog name so a couple of my friends here have the same name as me! Make sure to ask to meet me, Blue, this month’s pet of the month!
Fun Facts About Me:
- I will sit, lay down, spin, wait, and back up on command.
- I love to chase tennis balls.
- I am great with all people!
- I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on all of my shots, and heartworm negative.
- I can be dog selective but I get along great with other dog-friendly dogs.
- Cats don’t seem to like me so I would prefer a feline-free home.
- I don’t like it when people around me fight. I like it when everyone is getting along and happy.
- I am a VIP dog at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. Wondering what that means? It means that my shelter family cares about me so much that they want to do everything possible to help my transition to my new family be the best possible experience. I have free group training FOR LIFE with my friend Cindy, a certified dog trainer & behaviorist! She will even come to my new home and help my new best friend with training to help acclimate me to my new home.

Does Blue get a along with other dogs? I have a stafford/terrier & lab mix that is almost the same age. Female. Maybe blue could be her friend?? She is all alone. She loves people , hates squirrels , cats , other female dogs.
Blue can be dog selective but does well with other dog-friendly dogs. Bring her out for a meet and greet!
